Your $40 donation to Kearny Street Workshop gets you a seat at our Prohibition Poker tournament. All guests are welcome—but to play, you've got to reserve your seat.
In the back room, we have our blackjack lounge where smalltimers and guests can grab a beer and try their hands at blackjack.
This year we've moved to PariSoma at 1436 Howard; we were getting too much heat at our old speakeasy, if you know what we mean.

Yes, if you'd like to guarantee your seat at the tournament. We will accept at-the-door donations to play, but with a first come first served policy in effect. We will expect a capacity crowd at the event.

By federal tax law, your entrance fee (and any rebuys during the tournament) is not tax deductible. However, Kearny Street is a 501(c)(3), so any dollar amount you donate to the Kearny Street Workshop beyond the poker tournament is tax deductible.

Please feel free to come and watch. Besides the tournament, we will also be running a special Blackjack table, with a special prize for the evening's highest chip earner.

What are the rules for the tournament?
Our tournament will begin promptly at 8:00pm. We will allow rebuys of chips for $20 until 9:00pm.
