She has toured to NYC, Boston, Santa Barbara, and Riverside to perform and teach; locally, she has played in such venues as the Great American Music Hall, the Palace of Fine Arts, and La Pena Cultural Arts Center. She currently tours with Aya de Leon's one woman hiphop theater show, "Thieves in the Temple: The Reclaiming of Hip Hop" and has participated in hip hop theater festivals in both NYC and Riverside, receiving a notice in "American Theater" journal. For more information, check out her website at www.gotspit.com/elaine/

CELSKIII and DEEANDROID have been mixing and skratching for six years now, being involved in Hip Hop culture since they were teens in Vallejo. Music has always been their sweet refuge! You can hear them skratching on Hip Hop Slam's "Scratch Attack Vol. 2" CD, found at Amoeba's and Rasputin's. You can also have a skratch session with these Pinays on Dj Q-bert's latest release, "Do-It-Yourself Vol.2" DVD, found on www.djqbert.com. If you want to check them out live, you can—every first Wednesday of the month! Along with Dj's Amerriica and Winston, Celskiii and Deeandroid host " Skratchpad," an open turntable event at Sublounge located on 628 20th St & 3rd in the fo-one-five.

About the artists:

ELVIN DeGUZMAN otherwise known as E! or Emcee Escher is an artist and native of the Bay Area. Self-taught since the age of 6 through comic books and Iron Maiden album covers, he took his first art class in Junior College moving on to the Academy of Art and graduating from Cogswell College. As a multimedia jack-of-all trades, he's had a hand in everything from print media, web design, 3D modeling, animation, and as of late, video game development. His works include peojects with DJ Qbert, Electronic Arts, The Invisibl Skratch Piklz, and The LOLLAPALOOZA Tour. Current projects like HEAVYW8CRE8IVE and Frisco Authentic take up what little time he has left. In his rare spare time, he likes to play the piano, the guitar and teach himself new instruments of mass destruction.

GOH NAKAMURA cut his teeth on the Boston Music scene providing "stunt guitar" work for various local bands. After a stint at the Berklee College of Music where he sharpened his ears, he came back to the west coast to write his own songs. He likes to think of himself as a combination of John Lennon, John Cusack and John Coltrane. However unholy this trinity is, it seems to work (at least in his head). For the last 3 years, he's been playing his original songs as well as an eclectic spectrum of covers at assorted venues throughout the SF Bay Area. You can hear some of his homemade music and check out his performance calendar at http://www.gohnakamura.com.
