About the designers
T.A.T.
Up and coming designer/musician Tisha Anne Turner (T.A.T.) has been designing since she was 12, starting with footwear and then women's wear design. Originally from Long Beach, California, she loves shapes, colors and angles against the body. Her designs display an electic taste, and are fun, soft, and edgy. She likes the the wearer of her clothing to have fun, be excited, comfortable and relaxed.
PunkCakes by Jeanna Paulina
PunkCakes is a year old. Jeanna Paulina created it for edgy little cute girls who like edgy little cute things. Cupcakes, Candy, Pin-Ups, Pirates, Hello Kitty and Punks in Plaid is what inspires her. PunkCakes is a sweet clothing line that makes you feel yummy from head to toe.
Caryne Finlay Designs
Caryne Finlay is an award-winning designer creating couture artwear coats and garments utilizing vintage kimono and textiles from Japan. Caryne also designs pieces incorporating her own hand-dyed silks based on themes taken from nature and the surrounding environment. Her "Element" series will be part of the runway show.
Amy Ho is a San Francisco based video and performance artist who experiments in fashion. Her work reflects a sculptural approach to clothing design and addresses the fabric as a medium for expression. Utilizing materials such as chicken wire, vinyl, and hula hoops, the designs subvert utilitarian views of fashion. Amy Ho graduated with a degree in the Practice of Art from the University of California, Berkeley.
