Kearny Street Workshop presents the 10th annual APAture: A Window on the Art of Asian Pacific Americans

A collaboration of Kearny Street Workshop and Intersection for the Arts

Kearny Street Workshop, the nation's oldest Asian Pacific American multidisciplinary arts organization, presents its 10th annual APAture September 18-27. The 10-day festival will showcase over 90 emerging Asian Pacific American artists working in visual art, film, music, comedy, literature, spoken word, and performance. Events, presentations, workshops and performances will take place at venues throughout San Francisco. APAture 2008 "Featured Artists" are Weston Takeshi Teruya (visual art), The Invisible Cities (music), Richard Wong, H.P. Mendoza (film), Samantha Chanse (performance), Pireeni Sundaralingam (literature), and Hellen Jo (comics and zines).
