APAture 2007 General Planning Committee
Kearny Street Workshop's APAture festival is curated and organized by the festival General Planning Committee (GPC), a group of dedicated volunteers who commit hundreds of hours over the course of the process, and KSW staff. The planning committee first meets in February of the festival year, and continues to meet and coordinate the festival through the end of the festival.

Samantha Chanse is the Artistic Director of Kearny Street Workshop.
When not slaving for Corporate America, Jack Choi enjoys partaking in binge fests of hearty comfort food. Besides having the talent to chow down everything in sight while maintaing a size 2 figure, Jack also enjoys his share of creative writing, dancing, sketching, and singing to old school Whitney Houston tracks.
Sharon Hing has shown her work in the Bay Area for the past 10 years and has organized and spearheaded multiple art benefits for non-profits in the United States and Hong Kong. She is a board member of the National Asian Pacific American Women's Forum and volunteers at local community organizations as an art teacher and set designer.
Amy Ho is a practicing video installation and performance artist who occasionally experiments in fashion. She is particularly interested in using art as a medium to investigate the relationships between action, space and experience. Amy serves on APAture's 2007 General Planning Committee as well as on the APAture visual and music curatorial committees. Amy Ho graduated with degrees in the Practice of Art and in Business Administration from the University of California Berkeley and currently experiments in the Bay Area.
Connie Hwong is the Managing Director of Kearny Street Workshop.
Lucy Kalyani Lin is a visual artist and after having graduated from UC Berkeley, she now lives in San Francisco. She is fortunate enough to return to her dwelling and exist amongst much amazing artwork, not her own nor hers but exquisitely inspirational nonetheless. The Little Gallery appointment hours to come.
Theresa Navarro is a member of KSW's 2007 APAture General Planning Committee.
Jeff Ngai is a member of KSW's 2007 APAture General Planning Committee.
A San Jose native, Brian Nguyen is very excited to be a part of this year's APAture planning commitee. His hobbies include drawing, running around big cities and pretending he's a Street Fighter character.
