This year's APAture– themed GENERATION–focuses on strengthening community solidarity and deepening the relationships that sustain our creative ecosystems. If you have the means, will you join us uplifting the next generation of AAPI artists with a meaningful gift?
We are so excited to be hosting this one-of-a-kind Hong Kong style Mahjong Salon, a fundraiser for KSW
Join fellow APAture artists for an afternoon of collective histories and art making. We’ll each bring an important or symbolic item from our family history and compose a still life together. Snacks, drinks, and drawing materials will be provided. Optionally, you may bring your own painting or drawing supplies.
Join APAture Literary Artists Bianca Datta and Brandon Vu for a fun literary workshop this Halloween! Activities include community reading and guided generative writing time to spark epistolary or persona poems speaking from our "ghosts" and histories. Come prepared for a fun time, and please bring any snacks or drinks to share! Costumes encouraged!
