
Mild Monk (Featured Artist)
Mild Monk is the solo project of Asian American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer Henry Stein. Through the intersections of Pop, R&B, Funk, Hip-Hop, Bossa Nova, and another handful of other genres, Mild Monk is a project that processes all of its influences and turns them into creations. Stein is currently based in San Jose, CA where he spends most of his time playing and writing music either alone or with friends and collaborators.

jxtheo (j-thee-o), also known as Jean (JT) Teodoro, is an environmentalist, internationalist, poet and educator. They were born in QC, Philippines, and raised in both QC & Unceded Ramaytush Ohlone Land (San Francisco, CA). They started a program called 'Bayanihan Boxing', for all levels, with an emphasis on mental health & overall wellness. They are a vocalist of the hip-hop and rock band Boondock Squad. They currently teach Filipino language at a public high school. They have also worked as an instructor in social sciences, creative writing and literature. Their debut publication, a graphic poetry book titled ‘Paper Trail of FREEDOM’, is available for order now at www.jxtheo.net.

Connor Komiya Carroll
A San Francisco Bay-Area native recognized for his work in music education as a percussion specialist, Connor Komiya Carroll is a multi-instrumentalist whose work in the arts have been defined by the purpose of providing younger generations with encouragement in self-improvement and inspiration of their own potential. Having taught various music programs across the greater Northern-California region over the past decade, Connor aspires to continue serving his community through the medium of arts in education.

Ito Yosakoi
Ito Yosakoi was founded by Jeremy Chan in 2017 to give back to Japantown and the Japanese American community. Ito has performed at community events around the Bay Area, such as the Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival, where in 2019 Ito hosted other American yosakoi teams to perform together as a coalition. In response to COVID-19, Ito began hosting online practices and is now exploring how to continue serving both in-person and online audiences.
Patris
Patris is an early childhood educator in San Francisco. She grew up in Bakersfield where she found a love for singing in the church. These days she spends most of her time with her students, and has always daydreamed about sharing more of her thoughts through writing.

Leo Hedge
Leo is a trans, second gen Indian American from Edison, NJ who currently lives in Oakland. He is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter who’s musical voice ranges from expressive and soulful to gentle and soft. He’s played with big bands and jazz combos on trumpet, and has been exploring a new side of his music through writing for voice and acoustic guitar. He’s also trained as a tabla player in the Hindustani classical tradition.
