The San Francisco Chronicle featured Truong Tran and his recent solo exhibition at KSW, “100 Nights of Pandemic/100 Days of Yearning,“ co-presented by the Diasporic Vietnamese Artists Network. Olivia Cruz Mayeda's article thoughtfully explores the emotional depth of Truong's practice.

The Chronicle piece beautifully captures the community woven through Truong's work, both his art practice and teaching– the paper cranes his former student Carolyn Ho has been folding and sending him for 15 years, also featured in the exhibition, the heartening sonnets written by his students at Northeastern University, his dedication to nurturing his students as artists and humans.

"100 Nights of Pandemic/100 Days of Yearning" has closed, but the light Truong brought into that room stays with us. We are grateful to have been the space where this work finally found its audience and we can't wait to share what's coming next.
