Donate to APAture 2026: Generation
design by Madi Reyes
"Dear friends, fellow artists, and supporters near and far,
APAture 2026, marks an exciting year for Kearny Street Workshop’s annual festival. Now in its 27th year, APAture has long been a space for experimentation, visibility, and artistic growth. This year’s festival kicks off on October 17, and in 2026 we are recommitting to what makes the festival most powerful: community connection, shared responsibility, and celebrating emerging artists at pivotal moments in their journeys.

This year's APAture– themed GENERATION–focuses on strengthening community solidarity and deepening the relationships that sustain our creative ecosystems. If you have the means, will you join us uplifting the next generation of AAPI artists with a meaningful gift?
We are reaching out for your support navigating historic waters. The nonprofit and arts worlds are deeply impacted by ongoing changes in our funding landscapes. Smaller organizations–even those with decades of history–are undergoing turbulence unlike anything we have seen in recent years. Opportunities for emerging AAPI artists are in danger of disappearing from the field.

Despite this, we continue forward knowing that with our community’s collective stewardship, we can and will continue to uplift AAPI voices and empower our people through arts & culture. We can only imagine better, more inclusive futures with the power of art at the helm.
We warmly invite you to be part of shaping the next generation of APAture. Let’s build this together. Support us with a meaningful gift, and help us get through this difficult year so we can continue to empower AAPI communities with vision, and heart!
As a part of our fundraiser, please Save the Date for a Mahjong Fundraiser on Sept 19th 4PM at KSW (Arc Gallery), led by Ariel Mihic at Four Flowers Sonoma. Stay tuned for more info or write to info@kearnystreet.org to save your spot!

Protecting and championing the next generation of AAPI artists is central to KSW as an organization. We need your help to build true sustainability for our shared work. Will you galvanize the change we need for the next GENERATION of AAPI artists?
With you, we know that we can make APAture flourish in future years to come!
Sincerely,
Mihee & Jason
