This September, Kearny Street Workshop Presents, "How to be Extraordinary in America," in partnership with the San Francisco Arts Commission, a reading featuring F.T. Kola, Preeti Vangani, and Ploi Pirapokin, as they share works exploring the myths of American exceptionalism through the lens of non-U.S. born writers in relation to race, nationality, and class. The title of this event comes from the title of Ploi Pirapokin's manuscript in progress, Extraordinary Aliens.

All proceeds from ticket sales will support Kearny Street Workshop with thanks to San Francisco Arts Commission for sponsoring our participating artists.
